Owner statement

 I want to start by thanking everyone for the hard work that you do on a daily basis and especially the work you continue to do during this uncertain time in our country’s history.  For those of you who know me and for those of you who have spent years out there framing with me you know that people mean more to me than profit and always will, your safety and health will come first.  I started this company with the intent of being family oriented and after 8 years of operation I am very proud of what all of you have helped us achieve as a company and as a family.  

  It’s not common for me to make public statements or be candid about the company but I feel a sense of responsibility to all of you who read this to ensure you that we will make it through this.  Our governor has made it very clear that construction is an essential part of our economy and that it is to continue during the covid-19 outbreak.  For some this may be concerning which is ok it is not mandatory however, for me it brought a sense of purpose to this madness and has forced me to refocus my efforts to overreact positively instead of negatively. Also it has made me think of how I can help my community right now not hurt it.

 

I personally feel that if the amazing doctors and nurses are brave enough to continue working the front lines then the least, I can do is keep working as well.  This will be a decision that each employee, owner, and every American will have to make for themselves.

 
With that being said Blades General will remain open for employees who chooses to work  and I’ll be there with you.
